Thanks Tom, seat 10B now reserved, I hope some of the stewardesses are as hot as you say....

Tom, Only a couple of days till it's the 90 day window to book my seats. I've had a look at your link, thanks a lot for that its very helpful. Just a quick question, looking at the configuration, I'm assuming B & J are better than A & K because its an emergency exit seat, so there could be a slight impingement in the window seats.?? Also, I was wondering if there is anything directly in front, ie stewardess take off and landing seats?? or any type of service area? If there is, does it effect leg room or generally annoy you in any way. In March when I flew KLM, I sa

I used the link from this website a few weeks ago to book and had no problems..

Cheers guys, booked it now, got the price direct from CI at €1299.. Which roughly converts to £900 / $1500 So all in all I'm quite happy, plus the flight times out of AMS are quite good, arriving in BKK at 6.50am, so get the whole day in the sun before hitting the town on the prowl, although could end up in Lolitas or Soi 6 in the afteroon, if some of those little sexy CI air hostesses are giving me the serious horn.... Thanks again guys, roll on November....

Thanks Tom, I went back in a day later to book that Eva deal we spoke about last week, and the price had gone up £500, hence me looking around again. This one looks a good deal though..

Thanks for that Besty, looks like great value to me, is it good leg room? I flew biz KLM last trip which was fine, if it's anything like that I'll have absolutely no grumbles..

I've been searching around for the best deal for my next trip. The best I can find is a direct flight from Amsterdam to Bangkok with China Airlines. They are quoting 1299 Euros for Dynasty Class, aircraft type 744, whatever that is. I'm assuming Dynasty Class is their name for Business Class. Question is, any you guys used them before? What was it like? Opinions would be very much appreciated. Cheers

I'm not quite sure what to do. I'm staying for a month, and I would be happy to stay at RG again, but I've got two of my mates joining me for a week, and they want to stay right in the thick of the action, so it's whether I can be arsed moving hotel during the trip. I am there for a week, then they arrive for a week, then I have 2 more weeks... So bit of a dilema really...

You mean a nice quiet breakfast, relaxing by the pool duing the day, maybe a short stroll along the beach in the afternoon, and one or two soda waters in the evening, followed by a good book and a nice early night!!!!

I'm just in the process of booking up my next trip. Think I'm gonna stay at one of the Flippers. Two questions for you guys who have stayed there before.. 1. Is one better than the other?? 2. Is it worth paying the extra for a suite. What do you get extra for your money. There is no pictures on the website. Your help would be appreciated guys.. Cheers

I agree Dave, too many negative vibes on this site, jesus christ, most businesses set up in the UK fail as well, for the same reasons as businesses fail all over the world, Cashflow!!!! The bottom line is, if it were easy, everyone would be doing it, if you have what it takes, some common sense and probably a tad of luck, then why not... Good luck mate...

VERY SAD NEWS - Om (cashier) Died Today
Martini replied to carlsberg's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
This is terribly sad news, what a waste of a lovely young girl, my thoughts go out to her friends and family. Steve... -
Thanks for all the advice guys, it is a very complicated subject. Chantrycat you lucky man, you are probably whitening your teeth on some BG breast as we speak, just a quick question re your treatment, did it make a significant difference to the couour??
-
I noticed last week on my last trip lots of places around town now offering laser teeth whitening. I've been looking to have it done in the UK, at a cost of around £400, ie circa 30,000bht. One place I noticed was advertising it from 10,000bht, so basically a third of the price back home. I asked one Tilac about it and she was basically saying that laser whitening is in it's infancy in Thailand, and wasn't really sure how good it would be, lets face it Thai's have all got perfect white teeth anyway. So my question is, any of you guy's had it done before over there, or any guys who live

Always fly bus class these days, I'm 6ft 2", so when I was younger and couldn't afford bus class, it was a nightmare, final nail in my cattle class coften, was when i ended up in the very last row on the aircraft in a seat which didn't recline, so when the guy in front of me put his seat all the way back, he was vurtually in my lap... Swore to myself then, bus from now on, it's fucking expensive, usually go KLM Glasgow - Amsterdam, the Amsterdam - bangkok, but it really does make a huge difference, roll on Friday...

1600bht Aitport to Pattaya - Sound About Right?
Martini replied to Seapix's topic in Meeting - Cost sharing
Seapix, When I was there in November i paid 1800bht so the price doesn't sound too bad, mind you that was from a car in the Airport, a Toyota Camry, quite new and very comfortable. That was also for two people, so I'm not sure if the price is different depending how many passengers they are carrying. I understand the cheapist option is if you simply get a cab outside, not sure how comfortable they are though.
