The last time I flew Eva Deluxe I asked if my friend could join me in the Lounge, was told that as I was only a Silver card holder that it would cost 80 pounds. As he would have been pissed out of his mind and bloated with sarnies to justify 80 quid and no doubt refused entry to the flight for being drunk, we declined the offer. After that flight my rating went upto Gold card so no problem next time. UKP

sinbinjack, I stayed at the Dynasty hotel back in September, though the rooms were fine didn't think much of the pool. Liked the look of the Leks pool and I'm thinking of booking in there for a few days in Feb. Have looked for their web site but cant find one, asiatravel.com are offering the ThB 1,200 & ThB 1,800 inc tax, just wondering if there's any difference going direct. UKP.

I might be up for an even longer trip, arriving BKK 5th Feb staying at rembrandt Suites till 11th. Thinking of hiring a Honda CRV or Jeep the heading down to Pattaya for a few day days, then making my way up North East stopping off where ever it looks good a day or more. Gradualy head for Chaing Mai, then down to Tak onto Bridge over the Kwai, onto Hua Hin and back to BKK for 28th Feb. Dont plan to bring female company along just sample the local fare on route. Be carefull they show up on the airport scanners, years back we had the BA girls in titters when they did a random check on three of uses luggage. We were heading for Cairo and the rugby lads wanted some aids for a dinner sketch. We bought the whole Ann Summers range between us. Invited the BA girls but they didn't take up the offer.
