Hi Guys I arrive in LOS on 3rd Feb at 4:40pm :) Anyone arriving same time want to share a taxi from the Airport to Pattaya? Clive

I am arriving on 22 October at 22:50 on Thai Airways Anybody going to be around at the same time looking to share a taxi to Pattaya> Clive

I am arriving LOS 6am ish on 8 May :) Anyone want to share a ride to PTY? Or a beer later (Dont have to share the same beer though!)

I like to take the busses. Last time, I took the Airport bus the Ekami and then the buss to Pattaya. This time, I will try a taxi to Morchit bus station and then a bus from there. By taking the busses, I learn something, it is all part of the fun for me. I dont want to say "I am a stupid, rich, white guy who is in a hurry and cant work it out - Please take me" But then I am a little strange like that

Thanks Neil I have booked a couple of nights at the Roof Garden, if I fall in love with the place, I will try and stay there, otherwise maybe check out Flipper Lodge Clive

Thanks guys for all the good ideas! It was a toss-up between SkyTop and the Roof Garden - Thinking about too many only gets me confused :) I saw some pictures of inside the SkyTop and it is decorated a bit like a caravan :crying - Good location though.. I think the Roof Garden wins Emil - I am staying for about a week, from about the 9th. I saw some good reviews of the Roof Garden in the reviews section - Its a few years out of date, back in the days when people posted reviews :) Maybe I need to do an update on the place!

I wouldlike to know about this place too :) Surely someone has seen it? It the location ok?

I will be taking my first trip to Pattaya mid February - Yay! Should I be looking for a hotel 'right in the centre of the action' or is it OK to get one on the edge? Traditionally, when I dont go for the centre of a place, I am dissapointed but maybe in Pattaya, there is enough going on all over the place for this not to be an issue? Anyone care to name a handful of fave hotels in the 500-800 baht range? Thanks guys ..Clive
