Most newer dvd players (with progressive scan ) will play just about anything, WMA, AVI,MP3,JPG, etc. The jWIN brand does just that, and is fairly inexpensive, at least here in the USA.

Sorry CTom... Stateside, Wifi is ground only. There is some talk about allowing Cellular usage on Domestic/International US origin flights, but that will prolly be defeated, by both airline interests AND some Cellular carriers. Hence my comments. I will butt out here.

WiFi and laptop power are two totally different things. No one allows the use of wireless devices in flight, but some certainly have laptop power. Or are you just referring to the power outlets on some aircraft?

I am now a firm believer that our food stuffs here (USA) with all their preservatives and what not, are what makes us fat. When I travel to say MX or DR, I eat like they do..walk some..and drink and f**k. And I always lose weight! Then add the 1 day or so of upset colon when I eat US foods again upon returning home.. and i lose about 5 lbs.

I have no desire to become embroiled in this discourse per se, but I would have never expected to see this sort of colourful description in a forum like this. Quite Excellent! However, until the actors stop feigning life ending injuries when they take a cleat to the shin, I cannot take the sport seriously. Now if they can LEGITIMATELY hurt each other while fighting..I'm all for that.

"That explains why I couldn't understand what the fuss was all about." Believe me here,we Americans don't care a whit about your soccer. This NCAA thingy is the biggest "money changer" of the year. No hard feelings, just win or lose, and move on. What is amazing is the teams that beat those they never should in average. You can root for your podunk college ,if they make the NCAA tourney, they COULD win. Amazing when you think about it.

Here's what I do when travelling, if I may interject.I carry a digital camera ,two world phones ,and a pocket PC, and obviously money ,passport etc.. I purchased a sonic/motion detector alarm from a computer store for 7 bucks. The thing is basically a padlock with a combination lock to release the padlock, and a pin code to arm/disarm the 3billion decibel alarm. If I don't have an in room safe, after I empty my bag of it's clothes, I lock all of the valuables in my travel satchel, with one padlock, and then lock that into my empty bag with the sonic alarm. I place that bag into the closet
