  1. Thanks for your liquid hospitality to Lek yesterday Paul, she got a taste for it & I got a number of progressively more "mao" phone calls last night. Seriosly though, I appreciate the chat you had with her, it confirmed some of the things that I've been saying. Would have emailed you but this way you go to the top of the page.
  2. I agree with everything p3squid said, plus you have the entertainment value of the Soi 6 girls all day. The bars all close by about 1am so there's little noise to disturb your sleep between 1am & 1pm. Used to stay at the Whitehouse (Soi 13) - great hotel but I prefer the activity of a busy Soi during the day.
  3. I just posted this in the Members Bar, but this is probably a better place to ask: I'm looking for a 3 bedroom house to rent, for a minimum of 12 months, commencing October or November. Would prefer a quiet area anywhere around Naklua/Pattaya/Jomtien for 10,000-15,000 baht/month furnished or unfurnished. If any of you blokes know of anything or can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it. I'll be in Pattaya from 2nd October looking for a place.
  4. The Whitehouse doesn't have wi-fi, but does have fast broadband.
  5. Do you know if there are any ATMs in Sihanoukville yet?
  6. Did you booh thru an agency (asiarooms, etc), book direct on Nana's website or just walk in? Maybe the agency bookings get the shit rooms?
  7. I had 3 "guests" in the room a couple of times in April (although not overnight). No problem with the bellboy or reception. All the staff were very friendly, maybe just a little shy.
  8. Can be of more assistance if you're a little more specific: 1) Price range? 2) Location - middle of the action or a quiet street very close to the action? 3) Extras apart from 4 walls & a roof - pool? internet access? room safe? It will be easier for BMs to recommend various (girl-friendly) places with a little more info.
  9. There are a number of good hotels & restaurants on the Soi, but no beer bars or go-gos so it's always quiet. I've booked there again for July & October although I might head to Snooky for Xmas to avoid the tourists. Enjoy your trip (impossible not to). 8 weeks to go !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. Stayed at the Whitehouse (2nd Rd side of Sandy Spring) a couple of weeks ago. The only construction in the Soi is opposite the Whitehouse & as stated all the noisy stuff seems to be finished. Robert
  11. I use a CC that is almost maxxed out ($100 or $200 available credit) for online stuff like this. That way if someone gets hold of the details, I can't get stung for too much.
