SEA ME SPRING TOO...........A REVIEW
thai style replied to Rickster59's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Hi There, Thanks for the review. Very helpful! Does it include breakfast and by 'no joiner fees' do you mean, no extra charge for bringing a lady back? I haven't been to Pattaya for a while and have lost track of the terms used Also is there gym? Regards Jules -
Areca Lodge girl-friendly?
thai style replied to Steffe's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
The Areca is still girl friendly, 1 lady no charge, however if you bring back 2 ladies then they will charge you 300b for the 2nd guest. I stayed there last oct & still great staff with no attitude. I'm booked into the new extension 'evergreen towers' in June and can't wait. -
I was wondering the same thing...otherwise it would be a fairly long walk from the soi dianna entrance all the way back, you'd almost need a baht bus to get you there I consider the Areca the best hotel i have stayed but its starting to show its age, perhaps the newly built & furnished evergreen towers are the answer. Any ideas as to when they open? Keen to hear what it's like!

Hi guys I'm hoping some one can tell me if this hotel charges a joiner fee because an extra 1000b will just piss me off. I usually stay at Areca which ticks all the boxes but am looking forward to trying a different hotel. Mixed reports on Baron Beach hotel charging, can someone clear this up? Thanks in advance.

Thanks to all those that replied. Think i should have posted in the hotel section but now know for next time. Peace

Thinking about staying somewhere different and don't mind not having a pool. Has anyone stayed here & would you rec it? Is it girl friendly? Thanks in advance. Jules

I'm reasonably fit and have great respect for mui thai style. I'd like to do some training (not fighting)somewhere close to central pattaya. Can anyone recommend a place?

reasonable hotel 4 newbie
thai style replied to inkyskin's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Thanks woodyamsterdam, the plus's seem to outweigh the neg's however come 10.05am and i'm blurry eyed and with an equally hungry girl tagging behind as we find the the buffet closed I may be cursing a bit On that matter, can you suggest a great place for breakfast in that general facinity? -

thai style replied to inkyskin's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
This question is mostly aimed at woodyamsterdam as you seem to be a big fan of areca...i've booked the delux pool view room wonder if the rooms overlooking the main pool are better than the second pool? I understand the rooms over the second pool have to wake up to chickens early in the morning. Can you rec' a particular room to reserve? Any other tips to make my stay more enjoyable? cheers -

thai style replied to inkyskin's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
sunshine vista is cheap, roof top pool and bar, near mikes shopping plaza and very guest friendly, hell the security guard even rates the girl on your arm with a wink & nod...just for a bit of variation i'm trying areca my next trip though. -
For sure, when you book your hotel they offer you the pickup service by simply ticking a box and giving them your flight details. It costs 1400B which seems reasonable to me www.res24.com. I doubt they offer it if your not booking accomadation though, cheers
