It is June 1 but I only am geetting messages to March 25 which read as today what's up with that?

A friend of mine knows the owners of Ann's Bar and recently emailed me that he was going to sell it. I think he did ok financially but it was a bit of a committment because he felt he or his wife had to be there all the time. He didn't find anyone he felt he could trust to help run it. It looks like an interesting business but there appears to be a bit more than at first meets the eye.

Made a trip from BKK tp Pattaya a couple weeks ago. Following previous advice from this board I went to the departure area at the airport. First taxi I asked quickly bargained down from the $1500 baht going rate to $1000 baht, he pays tolls. On my return there were numerous booths advertising rides to the airport for 800 baht. They required me to pay toll about 100 baht. I didn't try to bargain especially with the need for a 4 am pickup. They were waiting for me outside the hotel when I checked out at 3:45 am. No problems. I too am a light sleeper. I stayed at the hotel a couple weeks ago. My room was just up the stairs and near the elevator. The steps and halls are tile and there was quite a bit of noise one morning and a little a couple other mornings. Other wise no noise at all from the street etc. I'd ask for a room away from the stairwell. Very nice place without hassles. I had a couple minor problems in the room which were taken care of once I got around to telling the desk.

Since a post goes back to the top when there is a reply I can't tell how old is the original post. Is there a way to determine this? Could a date be added to the poic line? ???
