I ended up walking into the Flipper Lodge and got a room for 1000B. I thought it was too much but at 2am...oh well. I checked out the next day and went to the Pig & Whistle - 750B/night.

I had a kick ass ham & cheese omlet there the other day for 80B. I ended up getting a room there since the Flipper Lodge was trying to charge me 900B a night. Got hooked up with a room here for 750B.

I was quoted 950B yesterday as a walkin. Go for it! I looked at a room but the bed was a little too hard for my back's liking.

I just talked to the guys that I was thinking of above. It's a place called: Tattoo by Tu It's on Soi 6. I have heard of this guy in the past and saw some of his work inside. Seems to specialize in tribal (which is good for me because that's kind of the style I'm going for).

I got though Immigration at about Midnight, looked to the right as I left the secure area and there Toom was - just as planned. Thanks for the ride!

M&J Tattoo has one. If I remember right, it's located in the area where Soi 14 and 15 cross.

I got hooked up with him for my trip on April 8th @ 11pm. He responded to my email within 8 hours (overnight for me). Now I just need the Flipper Lodge to email me back!

I'm most likely going to get another tattoo done while I'm there next week. I have been to one place 2 times in the past (M & K Tattoo) but am thinking of going to another place this time. I think I remember walking past a place on either Soi 7 or 8 which was blasting some metal out of the shop. Sounds like my kind of place. Anyone know what I'm talking about or am I just mistaken? Anyways, do y'all have any favorite places to get inked?

Sounds like the Cherry Bar is the place to go! I'll be in the area starting Apr. 8th (LATE). Look for the guy with tattoos on his right arm, most likely wearing some kind of heavy metal band shirt...

I'm flying into Bangkok on April 8th at 11:05pm. I'm just wondering if there's any problems I might encounter with taxis to Pattaya or checking into a hotel real late. I don't have any rooms set up...thought I could walk into a place (Flipper Lodge?) and get hooked up. Anyone else flying in on United #837 on Apr. 8th?
