  1. I'm interested in any replies that you may have received by private IM as no one has yet to respond to this publicly.
  2. How about finding some Ginko in one of the stores upcountry because your recollection is wrong. Bangkok Bank has branch on 2nd road as you come into Pattaya from Jomtien. That branch has tellers on the ground floor and service (if you want to call it that) on the second floor. What idiot would put the tellers on the 2nd floor? Stop scratching your head and take some Ginko.
  3. Didn't we dispatch you to never never land earlier in this thread? Do you have anything of interest to add, or are you just searching for relevance? I am PERTURBED
  4. I hear the clickety-clack of horse shoes hitting the pavement. Please remove your blinders. I am PERTURBED.
  5. I know you are correct, Siam is very difficult. I was told that if I wanted to open an account with only an entry visa, I would have to go to the main branch in Bangkok. Have you seen anyone get the papers - verfication - from immigration and get an account at Siam?
  6. I have to disagree. I went to the sub branch in the Tesco at Sukhumvit and was taken care of in 20 minutes. I opened an account and deposited baht. They were pleasant and cheerful. The branch near Walking Street sucks big dick. There is always a line of 30 people with one or two tellers, and going upstairs to get something done is a 2 hour wait.
  7. Who said I was broke? It is nice to see that you hold your friends in such low regard. Surround yourself with lowlifes and you will never become anything else. Nice.
  8. You forgot the fourth, the know-it-all bar owner who doesn't like Christians because they tend to not whore around. Bar owner - non-whoring man - no good. Non-smokers - tend to not like to hang out in bars. And reformed whore mongers? Well, it's bad for business. Got a dog in this race? I'm astounded by the fact that my comment about the lowlifes in Pattaya seems to upset you and others so much. How interesting that you all associated yourselves as the lowlifes to which I referred? No one asked me to whom I was referring, you all just assumed. But I have a que
  9. Why did you end up in Sri Racha? My killer need is DSL - fast DSL. I need to tend to business - not retiring - still working - so I need to be connected. What is the internet service like in Sri Racha and Baen Saen?
  10. One thing to note: Do you have a work pemit? Are you retired? if you want to open an account and you are niether don't bother going to Siam. They won't do it. Got to Tesco, on Sukhumvit. Buy some lunch at MK and while you are there open your account downstairs at the sub station Bangkok Bank. They don't care, they just want your money.
  11. Where on second road? The service at the one paralell to walking street suck terrorist asshole. That's like saying the Siam Bank on Sukumvhit.
  12. You can buy atenolol in Thailand but they don't know it by that name. Try Tenormin.
  13. I'll take a bite. Why don't you elaborate on what you are so proud of as you seem to be upset by my observation that there are lowlifes in Pattaya. Are you a lowlife?
  14. That is where my idea of crossing the street too many times. Who would know?
  15. I'm taking high blood-pressure medicine and medicine for cholesterol. The costs of drugs here is very high. I take 10mg Norvasc and enquired at Boots and a few other places around town: 10mg X 10 pills was 500 baht. Not a lot of money, but when you add it to the other necessary drugs it can add up. What do you do when you live here?
  16. But can you still collect the insurance for your loved ones?
  17. Las Vegas and Atlantic City are also filled with lowlifes. I made no motion towards any of you, but it is interesting that you think I referred to you. We call that a Fruedian slip. If you think so little of yourself that you counted yourself among the lowlifes of Pattaya then I pity you. Read the newspapers and you will the lowlifes I mention. They are the scumbags who take advantage of Farang, the lowlifes who kill a Farang for 2000 baht, or the Baht Bus Driver who tries to run you down in the street. What crowd are you running with?
  18. Do you read and understand English? Pattaya isn't our cup of tea. I have outgrown it and she doesn't like the type of people that inhabit Pattaya. It is filled with lowlifes. I can't speak for you.
  19. I gave my millions to an orphanage locally. I'm starting over.
  20. Ah - I see, I hit the wrong reply to button. That reply was aimed at Kev.
  21. One of the things that keeps me away from Pattaya is the murderous assholes behind the wheel and I refer to both Farang and Thai. I was very surprised to find that Thais don't drive like they do in Pattaya in places other than Pattaya. If I substituted Americans behind the wheels of the cars and trucks of Nong Khai, they would not drive differently. I don't want to live ina place where every day is a game of life where 90 percent of the drivers take some joy in trying to run you down. I thought most Thais were assholes when they got behind the wheel, but it isn't true. Is the at
  22. I don't like your tone. I'm in America. Go take your paranoid fantasies elsewhere. If you cannot help, don't add static to the issue.
  23. Yes, but I am also assuming that I will pay quite a premium to live there. Yes? I am not wealthy, just intelligent and a businessman. I'm going to LOS now, rather than later and will need to start a business there. Not sure if I can do what I want on an island. What are the beaches like further from Pattaya - SE? Farangs or all Thais?
