A couple of weeks ago, I flew down to Boracay from Angeles, and spent 7 days in the sun. During the whole time, it only rained once, on and off for 2 hours, and that was the only rain I saw. These are just some of the photos of this beautiful island called Boracay................... Part 1. Not too far from home for some people.......

Bulabag beach on the other side of the island, is meant to be mainly kite surfing, as this is the side of the island that the winds hit first. Its a very narrow beach, and on this day was full of seaweed and other debris that had washed ashore. It doesn't strike me a beach where you could happily sunbath all day long, bit there are a number of high end guesthouses and hotels and resorts on this beach. Anyone know what this fish is called???

The Greenyard Inn, located in the area of Station 3 on White Beach on Boracay Island. The hotel is sat back slightly from the beach, and in a small local residential area, where the locals are very friendly. On 1 night, they invited me to gamble and play cards with them, but as I had no idea what the game actually was, I declined. Even declining, they still supplied me with beer and rum, and wouldn't take a single peso for it. A number of local house shops and eating places in the local vincinity. The hotel is built over 5 floors I think, and was only renovated 1 year ago. It u
