Displayed prices are for multiple nights. Check the site for price per night. I see hostels starting at 200b/day and hotels from 500b/day on agoda.

Hopefully for the bars, it will be a lot more crowded. Usually you hear about people on the board having trouble getting reservations at the hotels. In addition, there are sometimes extra charges for the period around Christmas and New Years.

I would advise you to get your reservations in as soon as possible.

Cheers

Yeah, I suggest you sort out your accomodation now.

Last Year, I had to move Hotels when I made reservation for the Period End November to Mid January in late Ocotober; I could not get one of my favorittes forthe full time.

No big Deal, and I did not mind the change (from Jomtien to Central Pattaya), but in case you have a favorite spot, contact them now!

New Years Party was great last Year, as far as I remember ......

I was there last New year to mid January, everywhere was very crowded,It was quite hard to find seating in some of the bars,January 4th onwards it got a little less crowded and was much better. There are still loads of girls to go round though. One of my best ever nights was New years eve, started drinking at 7pm and finally got back to my hotel room 10am on new years day,it was strange seeing people going out for breakfast and I was still there drinking in my shirt and trousers. :D Made a swift recovery and found a great girl the following night from FLB.

I will be doing the same again this year, weather was superb ,hardly any rain.Book your hotel well in advance though like now,or you may have problems leaving it too late.

have a great time.

I spent the last two New Years Eves in P., both times the city itself, especially Beach Rd. and Walking St, was crowded like hell. Cannot say too much about accomodation because both time I had a package deal - because it was cheaper incl. hotel than booking just a flight for my dates over Xmas and New Year - but a lot of hotels started advertising rooms already shortly after Xmas. That was particularly true for Soi 7/8 the last season.
