Appartment for 6 weeks?

Hi guys hopeing someone can help

 

I usually do 2 hols of 3 and 4 weeks per year. The boss has told me can only go the once but can do a 6 weeker.

 

Late April has been booked but where to stay? Now financially i will have to be a wee bit tighter this trip as it has been kind of forced earlier on me.

 

Can anyone help me out with an appartment which would be about 10000 - 15000 per month. Now a pool is not of real importance to me but security is. Also I dont want to be too far out as the saving would be lost on the baht buses.

 

Emil how far out is the Holiday Mansion? You seem to be the man for finding these bargains.

It's about 200 meters to Soi Buakaow where you can jump on a moving baht bus. Besides the cheaper hotels in this area, you'll find the internet and laundry, food and beer cheaper. Since many BG's live in this area you'll find many opportunties if you get out and walk around in the afternoon. Also check out the corner of Soi Buakaow and Soi Dianna. A huge new complex of shops and hotels have just recently opened. At least a dozen small hotels in this area and one large hotel. The large hotel is the only one with a pool.

thanks emil. I stayed in soi Lenkee in Oct of last year so im thinking it could be the next soi along. They were building on that corner then. Think thats where Lolitas the bj bar is.

 

Ive now had a lot more time to use the search engine and discovered that Dang Appartments by soi 6 was relatively good value but with no pool. Has anyone stayed there snd have any recent experiences?

Yes Lolita's is located in that new complex.

 

I was staying at Dang's on my Nov/Dec trip until I discovered the Holiday Mansion. Cons, they didn't have a pool and I didn't like the security boxes as they were not behind reception but located in the stairwell and were made out of wood. Holiday had the same monthly rate if you didn't get the larger room.
