The sort of money youre gonna get Andy tax won't matter, you will still have loads left.

Decent flat (condo) 15000 / month with two bedrooms. Loads in Jomtien. Its possible to negotiate everything in Thailand so paying a year up front would have a significant impact. Be careful with the deposit money, make sure they understand how and when it is to be paid back, and make sure you undertand what is and isn't included in the rent.

If youre gonna stay at least a year, why not buy something?

Which hotel are you working for? Normally a chefs contract would come with accomodation? Are they not up to much or have you never negotiated a contract before?

If your there in the next two weeks I will come and try one of your burgers.
