I am not a member of the private section and this probably violates the rules. B)

The board users who have designated themselves as censors (you see them popping up from time to time) will doubtless have something to say!! :P

Had a quick dip into FLB bar the other night. I have been visiting LOS for many years (I still remember Lolitas!) but have never set foot in the place. This is because I am a creature of habit and I tend to favour a few proven hangouts and some of the more out of the way places.

However, I am pleased to say that I found FLB rather a nice place. Good mix of Farang men (and some women) pleasant hostesses, reasonable prices and above all a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere. The beer I ordered arrived cold and quick, and I made a nice new friend who came back to my room for a coffee. I would reccomend the pace to anyone, especially the unitiated. B)

So many women, so little time. :D

B)

BTW, I mentioned 'Lolitas'. This was one of the original bars on Walking street when it was first built and was a great place to hang out and get mullered on 15 baht Singha! Sadly, development on the street saw the demise of Lolitas and the addition of some new bars, imagine my surprise when I found a new bar called Lolitas! :D

Located on Soi Diana Inns newest side Soi, the bar is large :P and understaffed. Beer runs at a standard 70 baht per bottle and the secret of the plcae must remain unmentioned here! (pedophiles don't get excited, its NOT what you think) All I would say is that those of you who are half competent in the art of Pool, should take advantage of the house challenge!!!!! B)

The Rules for Being Human

1. You will receive a body. You may like it or hate it, but it will be yours for the entire period this time around.

2. You will learn lessons. You are enrolled in a fulltime informal school called life. Each day in this school you will have the opportunity to learn lessons. You may like the lessons or think them irrelevant and stupid.

3. There are no mistakes, only lessons. Growth is a process of trial and error, experimentation. The "failed" experiments are as much a part of the process as the experiment that ultimately "works."

4. A lesson is repeated until learned. A lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it. When you have learned it, you can go on to the next lesson.

5. Learning lessons does not end. There is no part of life that does not contain its lessons. If you are alive there are lessons to be learned.

6. "There" is no better than "here." When your "there" has become a "here" you will simply obtain another "there" that will again look better than "here."

7. Others are merely mirrors of you. You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects to you something you love or hate about yourself.

8. What you make of your life is up to you. You have all the tools and resources you need. What you do with them is up to you. The choice is yours.

9. Your answers lie inside you. The answer to life's questions lie inside you. All you need to do is look, listen, and trust.

10. This will often be forgotten, only to be remembered again.

wombat;

Very well stated. Very much the reincarnation view of life and the 'hereafter'. One person phrased it, 'You keep coming back until you get it right.' Obviously we have lessons to learn since we are still here. Since investigating reincarnation and finding it rang true for me, I find I certainly try to treat each person as I want to be treated. Why add additional karma to my present load? Thanks for posting your list.:D
