  7. a friend of mine (one i dont pay by the hour ) has sent me the following. if any one has infomation on what is being asked, i would be very greatfull for it. Hiya - I know you are about to skip the country, but I'm just sneaking in a quick request working on the principal of "networking' in the wider sense of the word! Trying to get this trip together, and have come up with a blank that none of the websites seems to be able to provide information. We are trying to establish transport options from Bandar Seri Begawan (Brunei) to Miri (which is not far to the south on the map, but across a border). Could you put that request out to any reliable travellers Even some reliable websites would be a start. (Current battle plan, as of today, is to fly Royal Brunei, using their Ak-KL return, via Bandar Seri Begawan service, break the journey there, somehow get to Miri, do a 10day trip ending in Kuching, an extra week there, back to BSB and complete the link to KL, then train or bus up to Koh Soc Park/Phuket. Might even stop off in Brisbane for a few days, as that option should only be a $50 stopover to catch up with my friend Andrea. If I do, are you going to be going flatout to make up for "time-out", or could you spare a few hours for a blast from the past? (Probably talking mid-July). Anyway, gorgeous day here, our Queens Birthday weekend - far too nice to be sitting inside! There a cafes to conquer and lunch to be had! Would appreciate it if you can gain any advice on Brunei-Miri transport options - don't mind how rigourous it is, just so long as it is safe. Helen
