Last trip I used hotel points to stay two nights at the Westin. They have the best hotel mattress I've ever used. Better mattress then what I have a home. As far as the facilities go, I didn't use them. I would assume they will be first rate. Drink prices at the bar would make one choke.

Five star property with prices to match.

Very nice lunch buffet, although not cheap by Thai standards, in The Med.

The piano bar has some very nice looking service staff and is a nice place to meet up with friends for drinks before heading out on the town. One or two times had drinks with the GF there, met up with some friends for a few more, then guys only bolted over to Soi Cobow/33, which is close.

The bed is called "The Heavenly Bed".

Can get this hotel for around $70 US on priceline.

The Piano Bar at The Westin is my regular early evening haunt when in Bangkok. The resident entertainment is/was a Filipina duo who are pretty good. Overall a nice place to take your TG and totally guest friendly. As Hub said, some of the service staff are pretty cool  Come to think of it, some of the chambermaids were pretty cool. :D It's also handy for nipping over the road to Riva's at The Sheraton if your wallet/ego can handle it.
