has anyone stayed at the Siam sawasdee hotel lateley

I stayed there two years ago, very cheap back then, fairly basic, but clean and staff are friendly, little bit of a walk to second road from Soi Buckaow (??) But for the price they charge it's well worth it, really depends on what you want to spend, you won't get a fantastic place at those prices

thanks it just worries me a bit this pay up front booking set up

but at xmas time you need to be booked in pattaya

last few years ive been going to the philippines instead and that is not so busy

Stayed there a while ago. Nice pool and cooling breeze seems to come through the lobby and reataurant. Good value for money, only worry for me was walk to 2nd Road which is full of motorbikes and as I wont take motorbike taxis have to walk there. Worrying if you are full of Fosters.

stayed there last august - nice clean basic room,ok swimming pool. if you walk down the soi down the side of the hotel to get to second road it's an ok walk and there are some very cheap bars, the dutchbar just past honey inn in particular. If you are frightened of motor bikes too then if you walk past this soi you can turn int the lshaped next soi with all the newish shops which is pretty traffic free and brings you onto soi diana just bby the areca lodge. Plenty of good cheap food in soi chayapoon closeby too
