I have made plans to stay at the old Weekender Hotel, it is now a part of the Sabi group. Has anybody stayed there since it was refinished. I know before it was kind of crappy :D (shitty). I have stayed there before and I was not to happy with it at first but I guess that it (the hotel) kind of grows on you. I am curious to know what they have done to the Hotel.

I like to be in the Big C area, and hope that the new Sabi Resort Hotel is much better than the Shitty Weekender Hotel. If any one has stayed there since the redo please give me a holla!!!!!! Bignasty :D

Someone did a report on the place with pictures a few months back. I've walked by the place and it looks great, a 100% improvement from when it was the rundown Weekender. They were opening the place in stages, don't know if its completely finished now.

I had a friend of mine stay there about a year ago. He liked it. Good location on 2nd Road.

Thanks guys I will do a search and try and find the old report, I have about 40 some days until I am back in the land of smile. I kind of like to think that they call it the land of smiles because you are allways smilling when you are there :D .

I know as soon as I get to Bangkok I have a constant woody :D the whole time I am in Thailand, a blessing or a curse. Hard to decide. L8ers, Bignasty96813

I was in Pattaya last week and stayed at the Sabai Inn. A superior room there cost 850 Bt. I used to like the Weekender so popped in to take a look. The old junoir suites have been refurbished. The living room now has a desk and some chairs and looks much better. They have removed the door to the bedroom so the new aircon has to serve both rooms. The bathroom has been completely refitted. However the layout and windows are as before. They asked me for 1550 Bt for the room - later reduced to 1450. I looked at the smaller 1 bedroom rooms and they were very similar to Sabai Inn but 400 Bt per day more.

I like the area as it is quiet and close to Big C and of the 3 Sabai offerings I would choose Sabai Inn.

The Sabai Snooker place was closed to make way for the Spa not the Sabai Room which is still going strong.

It certainly could have been longer then a year. It kind of funny the trips tend to run together.
