Always check your E-Ticket email confirmation clos

On August 2nd I made a reservation with United Airlines over the phone using miles. When I checked my email confirmation later I noticed that I was overcharged by $70. I called them back and it was corrected and I thought everything was cool. Today I was putting the arrival and departure times in my pocket calander when I noticed that the return date from BKK was listed as 22 Sep instead of 18 Oct. I immediately gave them a call and they said they could still get me on the 18 Oct flight out of BKK but once I arrived at SFO I would have to wait an additonal 3 hours for my connection because the earlier one was booked. I wasn't too excited about having to wait 5 hours so he asked if I was flexible on the return date and I said no problem as long as it wasn't over 45 days. He found me one on the next day so it turns out I get one more day in LOS. :o Lesson learned, always check the dates and times closely.

Just had the same thing happen to me on EVA. I was supposed to return on 16 June and when I was getting ready to leave I looked at eticket and it said 19 june. Well, I guess worse things could happen than an extra few days in heaven. My boss did not think so!!

When ever I book on line, I wait about an hour then I call to request exit row seats with UA and go over my reservation with the sales rep. I had a few mistakes and they were easily rectified over the phone.
