internet connection

Hi everyone, i am going to be in pattaya for one month.

during that time i have to connect the Internet with MY laptop at least 3 times a day.

Can i do it from Internet cafe?

What are the prices range for hotels with free room Internet?

Does all hotels have lobby Internet?

Can someone recommend good place to connect from (can be whirless)

Bella Villa Prima on Soi 4 has free wireless connection. LK Metropole on Soi LK Metro has wireless for 1000b per month (I got them to throw it for free as part of the monthly rate). Also Starbucks but i'm told its expensive and of course Misty's a Go Go. Most hotels have internet areas in the lobby and just about every street has internet cafe's although I'm not sure if you can use your laptop in these.

You can now access the internet by wi-fi from the Residence Gardens Hotel. The cost was 1,500 baht for 1 month. Also, if you stay at the RG for a month, you should get a reduced rate from that shown here - just over 1,000 baht per night.

Normal rate at the RG is 1,350 baht per month. In June, I stayed there for 4 weeks but was given the monthly rate, which cost me around £430 (around 32,000 baht)

I believe the rate for Internet service at the RG for one week is 600 bt., and 150 bt. on a daily basis.

How fast is the speed a RG? Anyone know the Mbps? Also are you guys finding it reliable? I'm taking some online classes and I'm considering bringing my work with me.

On secong the price it would cost to stay at RG for a whole month is too high for me. I need to look for something cheaper.

LK Metropole and any other places with Wi-Fi internet. What speed is it.
