What Time Do I Leave

I figure I'll leave the Nana area at 9 and get to the airport at 10.

 

All prior flights have been very early morning so have no idea of traffic at this time.

What I did last time was to take the Sky Train to Mo Chit and taxi from there. There is a

 

taxi line waiting on the left when you walk down. From there the time was about 30 min.

 

You would maybe get one hour extra. This was in end of May.

The time it will take is varied depending on the night of the week and the time of year. Sat or Sun nights will take a bit longer. In high season there is more traffic. And if it rains you could have a BIG problem. I always allow extra time "just in case."

 

And if you are going to the airport from Pattaya, you should also build in extra time. Only once have I had a problem, but leaving early allowed me to get there in time. I don't mind an extra wait at the airport. People watching can be entertaining.
