discounts for monthly?savings expectations

will be arriving in pattaya feb 2006 for a months stay. lookin 2 rooms.

how much can i expect to save on the daily advertised rates?

have emailed lots of places and have received the same daily rate reply.

sabai inn, pattaya center,royal palace to name a few.

a rate of 800 how much could i expect to lower this by?

anyone did this sorta thing before and could share.

hotels within baht bus route preferred.

As I understand THAI logic after a brief 2 months of reading this board...if the regular price of 1 room is 800B per night and you are renting 2 Rooms, then you must pay 1700B per night for both rooms. :frustrated No discount for you

I have noticed that the monthly prices are all over the place. some hotels charge ask for between 15-20 days rate paid in advance. others give almost no discount at all. If you truly want a month why not go for one of the montly places. They seem to have better prices.

Depends on hotel and time of year...Sometimes one can arrange if staying for 1 month to get a 5-15% discount.
