JAL Airlines from West Coast

Recommended Posts

SQ995 NRT-BKK

SQ996 BKK-NRT

I fly on Tuesday and will let yas know what I think. Many swear that economy in SQ is better than biz with the others. They also have three times the movies of other airlines.

I just flew Thai BKK-Inchoen and they showed 1 movie. The system on SQ has close to 60 movies of which about 40 are in English. In addition the system has TV programs, music and games. The quality and quanity of food offered is superior to an airline that I've flown economy and the Singapore Girls are very pleasing to the eye.

Get's you thinking Emil, if one airline can show 40 movies how come the other cheap bastards can only show ONE? Pathetic.

For you guys flying out of the West Coast, despite its service faults UAL's milage program is hard to beat. Seems everyone gets upgrades! But that 6 am departure from BKK to NRT SUCKS snails scrotums! Never again. 2guns

I once asked ANA for an upgrade, ther girl smiled, said OK, and then told me it would cost 30,000 miles or 90,000 yen. :beer 2guns

First Class and Biz with JAL is great but in economy they do pack 'em in. If you want more leg room why not ask for aisle seats or the bulkheads?

Some of the airlines save the best seats in economy (is that an oxymoron? ch) )

for those members of their frequent flyer clubs who fly cattle class.

Not only does United save the choice seats for their frequent flyers, they have an entire section devoted to them call Economy Plus which provides an additional 5" of legroom. On top on that if the plane isn't full they will leave the center seat vancant next to the Premier Executive passanger.
