Seriously i usually budget on £100 a day and i drink most afternoons and certainly all night too and seem to have enough there including soi 6 ST and LT at night.

Have taken TCs but get fed up with carting passport around especially if hotel decide that they cant change the £100 cheques, so have used ATM last few times ive been and also CC with pin number to withdraw my cash.. Nationwide is a good shout

I managed about 3500b/4500 a day when you go out start at 7pm when the happy hours are on and you get the cheap booze 45b instead of 100b. Some places have happy hours on all night on draft beer for 45b its ok. The main thing is to go and enjoy yourself.

I carry TC, cash and ATM card. It's a debit card without the Master card credit side. ATM card is useless without my PIN #. I only use ATM machine at banks. I do this if the machine sucks up my card, I can easily get it back. Make a copy of your passport face page and entry visa. If you lose your passport very easy to get a new one.
