Just been checking out hotels for my next trip in Feb and came across an offer First Asia Hotels are doing. Its only open to UK and Ireland residents for some reason but they're doing a 'stay 4 nights only pay 3' promotion for the Landmark BKK which means the standard rooms there work out as only 2,620 THB a night based on a 4 night stay.

If I were prepared to pay that much for a room, even the 3 for 4 price I would not think of myself as a cheap charlie.

If you think that price is cheap how much do you pay for fucks sake?

Yeah right mate.

I even look at 1000-1500 which is roughly what i will spend on a hotel as being a little high!!!!!!!!!

Considering the Landmark normally goes for about 4.5k a night direct or 3.5-4k a night through a booking agency then I reckon 2.6k is a pretty good price.

Yes that is a good price mate at nearly half price but i still think its lots to pay for a room

Up TO Me!!!!

Be good

The deal that is mentioned regarding the Landmark is no better than the deal "Airline Network" currently offer, i.e. stay for 4 nights pay for 3.

However it is possible to get the Landmark significanlty cheaper than Air Net for a delux room and this includes full ABF by looking on other sites.

(see my one & only BKK hotel review)

+ don't forget at the more upmarket gaffs in BKK you will be charged a joiners fee of +/- 1k bht.

I have always found that it is the 3* places such as the Amaris, Asia, Rembrandt and so on that charge joiner fees. On Sukhumvit, the Landmark, Westin, JWM, Sheraton and Majestic Grande do not charge joiner fees. In fact, I've found that the more upmarket hotels treat your guests a lot better than some of the 3* places that seem to take great delight in making you feel as uncomfortable as possible when bringing in guests.
