qatar airways info please

Hiya All,

 

Looking forward to flying to the LOS with qatar from manchester next week. I was wondering if anybody could give me any tips for getting a seat with better than average leg room as i have mobility difficulties, cant find any details online but hopefully someone on here would be able to help me please.

 

Also i wondered what the situation was if i needed to change my return date i believe it depends on the ticket class, and as i booked a discount return i probably will struggle? If anybody knows i have a ticket with fare basis code yee2m and H class, as an avid reader of this fine site perhaps that great wealth of travel related knowledge Cheshire Tom could help?

I changed my return flight with Qatar last week and it cost 50 USD (2,000 Baht). My ticket was a YIT fare which is about as cheap as you can get so I don't think it would cost any more to change an H class ticket. To change the ticket, simply give Qatar's Bangkok office a call (02 259 3560/1/2/3) yourself and tell them what you want .... it only takes a couple of minutes.

 

Unfortunately, if you have limited mobility it normally disqualifies you from the emergency exit seats so I wouldn't mention it as an excuse to try for a decent seat. If you PM me your dates of travel and booking reference, I will be at Qatar's offices in Manchester next week and will find out which aircraft thay have scheduled and what decent seats are available.

I will certainly keep that bangkok number handy as it could well be very useful, mmn if i blow all my money in the first week & have to come back to blighty very early Interesting info about the policy on exit seats looks unlikely i'd be given one in that case unfortunately. I dont seem able to pm you my details as it doesnt work for me? Im probably doing something wrong though! My flight is actually next mon 6 march & departs at 20.15 so it may be too short notice for you to check availability, If you can do anything that would be great & i will try to dig up my booking reference & get it to you somehow.
