Looked at them a couple of years ago. Each room is about 40 sq meters and long and thin-ish. One bedroom is two rooms joined together. Quality varies but generally OK. Usually a lot available. At that time a one-room was 9,500 baht a month if you walk-in, which is a lot better than 700 a day, 21,000 a month (which seems about the same as 2 years ago). Pattaya Rent A Room does rentals and is just outside, next to a couple of decent, cheap restaurants.

Walking Street is an 8-10 minute walk but you go past a number of Boy Bars who don't care that your TGF is with you. I always answer them in a friendly manner but it could get a bit wearing, as my TGF agreed.

I've stayed there a few times and it's a excellent bargain. The studio I stayed in had in room safe, 25"TV, fridge. Guest friendly. Only think I didn't like was the walk in the sun up to 2nd Road. I paid 500 per day.

I looked at them a couple of years ago when looking for a new condo but rejected them outright because of the walk from 2nd road up to the complex. Dark and dingy walk with the associated risks were the main reasons even if you could put up with the size (multiples of 40sqm).

I think there are other better options but perhaps not as near to Walking Street.

I stayed there in Feb. Apt was fine. Clean, good a/c, nice TV, large room, good hot water and shower with large glass doors that made for an interesting sight when my TG was showering. Has a pool that I didn't try but looked OK. Girls at reception desk were nice and liked to joke around. Getting to Walking Street is a breeze. Just cross 2nd road and keep going straight.

Guests are no problem. One receptionist insisted on ID cards while others never asked. I was with a familiar girl so didn't matter if they asked or not.

Walk from 2nd road was no problem for me and I never felt unsafe, though I think my ass was in danger from many of the local bar boys and LB's. I arrived very late at night and did not realize the place is located where most of the bars/gogo's had "boy" in the title. If that bothers you, book elsewhere.

If you stay on the 4th floor you may see the naked wheelchair guy. Happened to be in the apt. next to him and woke up early one morning to him yelling "Gerry" or "Gary", followed by "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh" over and over and over. Couldn't tell if they guy fell out of his chair, just needed help, or was yelling in his sleep. Came back late one night to him doing sprints back and forth in the hallway.

Only issue I had was when I checked out the maintinence guy, there because the manager was out, quoted me 100baht more per night than the agreed price. He said the manger told him the rate. He called the manager, don't recall his name, and I got the price I agreed to, but I'm not 100% certain it was an honest mistake.

I won't stay again, but only because I'm not comfortable with the area it's located. Other than that it's good value for the money.
