Areca standard double rooms

I have decided to stay at Areca Lodge during my trip in June. I have stayed there once before and I really liked it.

 

There were no deluxe rooms (with KINGSIZE bed) available, so I booked a standard double room. What should I expect? Anyone tried? Are they OK? I can mention that the alternative would have been a standard room at Eastiny Place hotel in Soi 8.

The rooms are exactly the same,including the beds.

 

The Deluxe room has a pool view,big deal,i will never understand why punters want to stand on a balcony and look down at a pool,when they can be swimming in it.

 

The deluxe from memory has in room safe also.But the standard rooms are very adequate,exactly the same as Deluxe.

Just booked a deluxe room at the hotel myself through sawadee and i also spoke to the hotel direct and they also said they had deluxe rooms available. Sawadee had cheaper rates then going direct. I dont know why they told you they havent .see you their in june.
