I'm looking to go to Pattaya for 2 week holiday, is there any good deals that anybody know's of that time?

I saw a flight for £380 with Eithad that I wanted to go for, but I didn't have my credit card on me, by the time I looked again, it was gone!

You will already have missed any cheap deals if you want to depart after ~10th December. Sometimes cheap flights come up at the last minute ~72 hours before the flight when holiday firms have to return any unsold bookings to the airlines but it's risky. If you depart the last week of November you will still get some good deals and the return date doesn't matter.

The airlines that operate non-stop flights (BA/Qantas, EVA, Thai) charge very high premiums for travel during this peak season but try Swiss, Etihad, Qatar, Gulf or Emirates. You might be lucky.

I've been loads of times to Thailand during the high season, and got tickets quite easily during Feb, but this time I thought I would get them around this time, and no luck so far.

It's annoying as I don't really want to spend £500 to £600 on tickets. That's way too much!

Are airlines now selling their cheap tickets directly on their websites? At one time those prices were only available through the consolidator sites or offices. (eg Swiss, Etihad, Qatar, Gulf or Emirates.)

Flights onwards from Dubai and Doha are likely to be heavily booked during the period 15-20 December due to the end of the Asian Games around that time and there will likely be a knock-on effect towards Xmas week.

Etihad is currently priced at around 700 quid during the week before Xmas ..... a price I would be inclined to take if my dates were guaranteed.

I managed to get my deal this morning from Dial a flight, for £392 including everything. Fly out with Eithad on the 28th Dec and come back on 11th Jan.

Really happy about it. All that needs to be done is book a hotel, have Flipper or Royal Cliff in my sight.
