I land in Bangkok on the June 21nd at 11:30PM and have a ride booked to Pattaya. It's about two hours to Pattaya so no sleep till then, unless you want to nap in the van.

If interested, let me know. I'd need your flight details and we'd wait for you at the arrivals gate.

If your staying near Sukhumvit you can take the skytrain to the Ekamai station and then take the Bangkok-Pattaya bus. They leave every 1/2 hour and cost around 110 baht. You just might meet your future wife on the ride.

The bus is easy and should take you a little over 2 hours if you leave around noon and not wait for rush hour to get out of Bangkok. Once you arrive at the Pattaya bus terminal there will be baht bus drivers waiting at the terminal. Should cost you around another 60 baht to get to your hotel. Where are you staying.

I've never heard of that hotel but they should charge you no more than 80 baht to get you to the Soi Honey area. If you weren't packing bags, then I would tell you once you got off the bus to walk across the street (North Pattaya Rd) and flag down a moving baht bus. It would continue on towards the beach then head down Beach Rd till it reached south Pattaya Rd and then towards Sukhumvit Rd. Get off at the 2nd Rd intersection and pay 10 baht, then flag down another one and get off at Soi Honey for another 10 baht.

Inntown Holiday Inn.

I have stayed at Honey Inn... it was ok.

I am a budget traveler, so lI look for for that 500-600 bht room.

Thanks much Emil... if I am feeling adventurous, I'll do the multi-baht bus switcheroo. :)
