thai jfk bkk flight

anyone been the jfk to bkk flight recent on the airbus its just hard to get info from the site i was just wanting to see how the entertainmet was and the

personal tvs....flew eva and the 777s were way better than the 747s

in elite compared to elite.....thanks for any info and any other info

Was on Thai airways flight mid May, flew econo. I've flown EVA evergreen deluxe about a year ago. I think the Thai airways tv selection was better. Had a choice of about 12-15 movies. A few tv shows (friends,etc) and a few cultural shows.

 

The flight attendants on EVA are much cuter though Most of the Thai airway attendants on my flight were unattractive and a little older.

I just finished reading the post from the link and it is quite interesting. Sounds like the A340-500 is a nice plane except for the lavatory water that stopped working. I guess all new planes have a few bugs to be worked out.

 

I may have to give it a try from LAX. With 2x4x2 seating in economy, 2x3x2 seating in premium economy(42" pitch according to the review), and 2x2x2 in royal silk class it seems fairly compelling.
