Welcome to the board prince123. If you are going tomorrow then I would suggest that you get busy reading some of the recent threads regarding these things as you may not get much response at this time. Sorry I can't help you as i'm not there right now. :chogdee2

It all depends on how you want to live - you can get a nice room for 350 Baht if you are not too picky - or you can get rooms for thousands of Bahts - I would try to go through the Hotel reviews and use the search function. The current exchange rate for USD is 37.52000 baht per USD for 50 and 100 Dollar Bills (no Bills of the 1993 or 1996 Series are accepted anywhere). Change at any of the Major banks Exchange Boots. Its rainy now and the forecast for the next days is also for more rain. As for girls - No bargirl discussions in teh open form...

cheers

Not true .. some exchanges take 'em, some don't ... but I try to take the newer notes anyway to avoid any hassle.

prince,

weather is hot & wet

girls are hot & wet

hotel rooms...

perhaps some are hot & wet but try to avoid those!

You'll have no trouble picking up a guest house room such as queen vic for 300-450b

An economical hotel room with bf such as sawadee court for 500 -700b

A nice hotel room with a swimming pool such as lek hotel for 800 - 1000b

And for about the 1200 - 1500 range you can get a well located boutique room such as that at tims or whitehouse condotel

I like the website you mentioned here! It's nice to see the current rates on a lot of the other websites so that you can compare! :cry1
