A couple of local friends took me over to this restaurant one night and it was really good. Nothing too fancy in what we ordered. Just tons and tons of seafood. All fresh, tasty, simply prepared and (I didn't pay but I'm pretty sure it was) very cheap.

It seemed like quite a ways out, though...maybe 1/2 hour drive around the edge of the bay?

There's a outdoor eating area that extends over the water. From there you can see the lights of walking street and that area.

Anyways, maybe you've all been there already? I give it a thumbs up.

My friends told me the place next door gets more business because it looks newer but they liked the food at this place more.

(and no... i don't work for them, own any of it, know anyone who works there etc... it was just different and nice and I wanted to share :thumbup )

cheers & good eating.

btw. Keith was saying mata hari was pretty good. anyone else been there? what kind of food do they serve?

Continental fare, from foie gras to steaks, pasta, seafood. Excellent place.

Thanks Hub!

Though I love Nam Prik I ate a bit too much last trip and a little steak and pasta would be a welcome change. Sounds good 2guns
