Just returned from my trip and stayed at the Jasmine mansion. I have traveled in many countries and stayed in a lot of posher hotels, but have to say that the Jasmine mansion tops them all when it comes to comfortable beds, friendly service and generally making you feel welcome.

I really drove poor Kevin crazy while booking and he did not even know until I actually was checking in if I would show up at all. :banghead

He took it all with a smile and not a few jokes :gulp

So to the rooms: I stayed in their cheapest room, 700 baht I think was the agreed price. For that you get a clean small room and a bathroom, a well stocked mini bar, an electronic in room safe, wi-fi internet conection (did not use it), and there is even a tooth brush and tooth paste in the room if you need it.

The bed in my room was the best I have ever had in any hotel I have ever stayed in. Soft but still firm enough. Actually spent a lot of the trip just dozing there with my girl, who really liked the bed too :-)

The staff was very friendly and my long term girl for the stay really apreciated that she was treated very politely and with a smile, just like any other guest. They do have an ID card policy though, so make sure your guest carries her. I think this is a good system.

The food was good too, just sorry we did not eat there more often. Nan liked the Thai food served as well. And our last day, when I sugested we eat at MK Suki, she actually suggested we eat at the hotel instead, becouse the food was very good, and she did not fancy a big meal.

All in all I had a good time, and I am booked there for my next trip as well. Only minus is no lift. And next time I understand I am on the top floor. But Nan is a trooper, and there was no complaints about climbing the steps up to my room on the second floor. And she will probably apreciate the bigger room and Balcony next time around.

See you soon Kevin :-)

Hi my Friends.

Just booked my second visit to the Jasmine Mansion in June and only just got in, kevin

seem to be very busy even now with low season apon us.

Did not have many rooms left hope i have not left it to late, it's a cracking place to stay

and i understand he has made many changes since my last visit in September.

One bonus for me this time is that breakfast is included in the price hope i got that right Kevin, and i will also have to get used to the new pool table.

Never the less i am looking forward to my next visit very much and cannot wait to get there,

even though i was unfortunate to get a crack on the back of my head last time in pattaya.

These things do happen when on holiday just a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong

time, but it happens every night in my home town.

Soi Buakhow is a handy place to stay with plenty of shops and bars around the place.

I have been coming to Pattaya since 1987 and have i not seen the place grow-up, i keep

saying to myself that this will be my last time but i cannot hold myself back.

I have many friends in pattaya and always keep in touch with them.

See you in June Kevin and Jin.

Dave

Hi Kevin.

Just brought this thread back to life after the attack on yourself and your hotel.

As you know will be back very soon and am not worried about the reports on your

hotel.

I am sure and know you have a lot of followers who like myself have stayed at the

Jasmine Mansion before and the reviews in this thread as anything proves that you

have a good clean place.

I am always looking at your web site and i for one do not think the rooms sizes are

misleading.

We all have our opinions on hotels we have stayed at even me, and i could name a

few i have stayed at, but everyone to there own choice and i won't be put off my

stay at the Jasmine Mansion.

4 Years ago i slated the Apex Hotel off and have never stayed there since, the Jasmine

Mansion may be small but it is a palace compared with the Apex although the Apex is

still as busy and cheap as ever.

See you soon Kevin.

Dave.
