Mobile phone changes?

I had read a while back that Thailand mobile phone numbers were going to move from 9 digits to 10 with the addition of an '8' in the prefix.

Has this change been implemented and is it working okay?

Yes! +66 add an 8 + old thai mobile number without the '0', or in Thailand 0 + 8 + rest of old mobile number

Old numbers will work until end of November

 

then you will have to add an"8" in the second digit slot
