I went for 3 weeks last month but only spent 3 days in Pattaya due to going to si saket with my old friend nat from the orn bar opposite soi lk.nothing much happens in si saket unless you like shopping at the markets near the school.went to a temple on the cambodian side that had jewellery sellers selling fake gold just before you go up the 100s of steps to the temple.i would not bother going to si saket again as i was just bored to my ears with eating mango and talking with the locals who didnt have any idea of what i was saying .

got back to pattaya for the last 3 nights and checked into the secrets hotel in soi 14 for 950 a night it was ok but only just ok.had a room on the second floor that was at times very noisy from other places around and the street noise, not too mention the noise from peoples shoes on the tiles in the corridors.room was done out nice but the fridge and shower are way too small.bed was comfortable but i dont know how regular they clean the duvets as mine was dirty from no doubt being tossed on the floor.checked out the next night even when i had paid for it as my friend was sick of people coming and knocking on the door trying to attract us downstairs for a drink. i stayed my last night in welcome plaza opposite pattayaland 2 and wish i had gone there the first night.nice big room with a king size bed and large bathroom with bath for 800 a night.

went down to check out soi 7-8 areas and its the same as usual will plenty of fun to be had

checked out soi lk and although it is quieter than other places at present i think its only going to get better now that some nice little places have opened there.our most enjoyable time was spent at a nightclub the blues factory which has a great band and reasonably priced drinks.
