First time to pattaya

Hi, I am visiting pattaya for the first time later this year.

 

A mate told me about this forum and also the special pick up service run by the classroom.

 

Has anyone tried thats ervice and is it worth the money. Seemed like a good idea to me but a little expensive.

It is expensive and you never really know who will show up and escort you to Pattaya - I'd personally save the money and go with a prearranged car service - I like Mr. Toom's service you can find him on this forum by doing a quick search. Not sure of the new price now that the airport has changed but it should be 1200 Baht or under including all tolls

I've never used it but unless you've got a lot more money than brains everthing I've heard tells me it's not worth it. It is too expensive and as previously stated you never know what you are going to get for your money.

 

It's not that far to Pattaya from the airport and after travelling as far as you have and waiting as long as you have a couple more hours won't make a big difference.

There isn't any bargirl discussions in this forum, so let me say this. For what you are planning, it would be money well spent if used for say hosting a party over getting picked up via minivan/"limo" service.

 

The price is not comparable to the service. If let us say, the usual price for a private taxi is 1500 baht, the minivan/limo rockstar treatment is 15,000 baht.

Way too much money for what you get. Just take a taxi and throw a party, that's what I would say.

I used this service a few times in the past. It definately makes your ride more enjoyable. I stopped using this service due to lack of new faces. I think it worth trying since you have never been in Pattaya. Ask girls to show you around in the next day or two.
