Hi,

I've been staying in Bangkok for the past few months, and would like a few weeks in Pattaya. I'm not out every night as I'm working via the internet. My connection here is quite stable and fast, but it slows down a bit in the evening.

So...can anyone please point me in the right direction to a hotel that offers a reliable net connection, for between 1,500 - 2,000 per month. I'd also be interested in any apartments that offer the same, in case I decide to spend more time in Pattaya rather than Bangkok, the next time I come.

From reading previous threads it seems the Pinewood Residences have the best connection, but they want 150 baht per day. For three weeks I'd end up paying more than I would back home. I believe they have a 2,000 per month option, but I'm unsure if they'd allow me to use that service if I were only staying three weeks. I've asked them, but have received no reply.

I was also considering the Diamond City Apartments, but I'm unsure how much the Cyberpoint packages are these days. Also not sure how good their connection is.

I actually thought this would be quite easy to sort out, but I just seem to be going round in circles.

Cheers.

Sky-Top has fairly reliable high speed internet. Pete the owner should have installed wi-fi in the rooms by now. Internet cafe down stairs is 1 baht per minute but he mentioned he was thinking of running a 'special' free internet during low season for guests.

Try Bella Villa Prima on Soi 4. Wifi in all the rooms and fairly reliable. Also, there are two other high-speed internet cafes on Soi 4 in case the hotel connection goes down. Internet included in price. About 1500 baht per day in high season. Don't know low season price.
