Hi everyone, Fri 8 june.... Thats my magic date. Thats the day i will arrive in pattaya.(from oz) I have never been there before and i cant wait. from everything ive read it sounds AWESOME. Fun in the sun while drinking rum. I hope to meet some friendly locals who are willing to share some local knowledge, and maybe bump into a few fellow aussies too. See yas all next fri

Your definitely will have a good time, my Newbie trip to Thailand was in February/March of 2007 & it was very enjoyable & I'm sure you'll want to go back there A.S.A.P. Going to Thailand by myself was the hard part, but once I arrived, I never felt threatened & the Thai people were absolutely friendly as can be, just sit back & enjoy yourself!!

Thanks. i am going by myself too. I have been to Bali twice before, so i sort of know what to expect. Did you go to pattaya?? or somewhere else? I am spending a full 2 weeks in pattaya.

I'm arriving from Brissie on the 9th to BKK and will be in Pattaya on the 10th. Hope to run into you, I'll skip the rum and start with the beer.

The owner of Sky-Top, Peter is from OZ. Knows Pattaya and more then willing to share his knowledge. He's located on 2nd Road near soi 6. Look for Gregg's Kitchen sign on 2nd Road and Sky-Top is a couple of shops down on the same side.

 

Soi 8 and Beach Road. Beer bar on the corner on the right side looking toward 2nd Road. Friendly group of expats meet daily around 4:30. Stop by and 'shout a round'.
