Saw similar fares to Sa-teef - Cathay was around $1100 in K (non-mileage earning) or $1283 in H (mileage earning). The latter # was departing 8/31 returning 9/11

EVA just cut prices on the LAX-BKK route. You can now buy a RT for 680 plus tax and 7500 miles. It's all about supply and demand. Demand drops and prices follow. It is not rocket science.

Nice. Wonder if the Bay Area fares will drop similarly.
