looking for any info on a speech therapist in or nr pattaya .

needs to be a native english speaker i think ..

and its to give speech therapy to a 8 year old english boy.

 

unsure if its something a english teacher can do ? assume we have lots of those in patts looking for work ..

but need the therapy on a regular basis/weekly for a fair few months .. and whoever it is needs to be trained in speech therapy on children i guess

I very much doubt whether an English teacher would be able to help.

 

The cause of the impediment needs to be identified. Anxiety could be a cause and the parents' reaction could be making the problem worse.

 

It may be worth asking the hospitals whether they have anyone who is suitably qualified.

My sister is a speech therapist. She works in a school district and has a Masters degree in the field. She works with all kinds of impediments. The bad part is she is not in LOS. As she plans to retire in the next couple years she hopes to do a bit of the expat thing, and live abroad for a few years. I know she mentioned that there where some schools that where looking for people with her credentials. So hopefully there may be someone like that in LOS.
