How do I reach the mods?

I have sent a request to join the members' section, two days ago. Have got no response so far.

 

Meanwhile I am unable the PM the mods. There's a message saying I can not use the feature. Can somebody advise on further course of action.

Member applications may have been a bit slow this last week as both MM and me (the only mods) have been out of the country. I'll try and catch things up right now.
