hello guys could anyone please give me an updated review on the Siam bayshore resort & spa. If anyone has stayed there recently please tell me how it was. Are the rooms in an ok condition;have they renovated the area;is any construction going on etc!!!

I stayed there on my first ever trip, big mistake as its not girl friendly and security watch like hawks so trying to sneak a girl in is almost impossible, back then it cost an extra 750 baht on your room rate if you want your lady to stay, they look down there noses as you pay, only did it the once.

 

Rooms are very nice though as is the pool area, one of the best in Pattaya, food and the restaurants are also good but very expensive compared to what you can get within a few minuets walk, grounds are nice as well and there are good facilities.

 

I pre paid for 4 nights but would not stay again; most clients are Aussie and European couples and families if I was in that bracket then it would be a great place to stay but for the single guy on the prowl best avoided.

I stay long time ago at Siam bayshore, but i visit it last month, renovation are for some bulding on right side if you come from Walking street, great quality hotel with incredible large park, at on ly 1 minutes walk to the night life. 1000 joiner fee, but if you book a double room , no charge. Brilliant location for evening ambience to take smarter girls and outside buffet and bars and sea view romantic and very tropical night location, smart staff, smart prices and an upmarket venue for night drinks with amazing harbour views..

 

I would not stay there as this is a 'posh' hotel with old fashioned moral views about girls in rooms entirely to my mind out of place in that location and this century and is not for a Monger mentality. Nice place to take girls for cocktails and a very smart but pricey buffet etc... dinner date land here...

 

but then they all live there and what we western men think is a 'romantic' location is usually wasted on most of them I have found as they are so conditioned to thinking of your wallet that sort of entertainment just doesnt seem to register.

 

It looks inside a business rich family hotel and is entirely another world to all the places we take our nightly distractions...

 

love the outside though and have taken a few smarter brighter girls to eat and drink there.. then down the road to La Notte Italian bar again in that lovely quiet and totally different end of Walking Street... what a contrast to the S Pattaya end of it all !
