From what i saw when i was there they only got one hotel on the whole island. Watch out for the prices of the ferry though. they got the price posted for falang which is 200 thb per person but i hab my thai lady pay the fee and they only charged her 20 thb a head

2-3 years ago somebody try to open an hotel but without autorisation, you will found only some simple bungalows on the beach.
