hi andy

yes stayed in both - they would score very similar in my book - probably the breeze would be tops simply because it has a nice outside seating area from which you can watch the coming and going on the soi and it is slightly closer to 2nd road. rooms are clean both have lift(s), dont think you would get the large rooms at the breeze for 700b high season pehaps 800.

would suggest j and p court may be better value although another 5 mins walk from 2nd road.

Hello Andf

I've stayed at the Bay Breeze every visit to Pattaya since 2002.

12 times now.

I believe it is one of the best value budget hotels in Pattaya.

My first few visits to Pattaya from 2001, tried a few other hotels.

Flipper on Soi7, 2 of the Sawasdee chain, Queen Vic on Soi6, Charming Inn on Beach Rd at Soi3, and Apex on Second rd.

But Bay Breeze is my number 1 choice.

Best location as it is not far from most main Pattaya attractions.

Good size bath/shower room.

Large comfortable bed.

Maids are generally nice.

Excellent price.

Cons: Air con leaves a bit to be desired.

Rooms could use a bit of a spruce up.

Cable tv has a few good channels but reception varies.

Phones not always reliable.

Wardrobe doors feel like they are going to fall off any minute but haven't yet.

Lift slow.

Have not stayed at Intown but had a look at the place in 2003.

Rooms nice and perhaps newer looking than BayB.

Bathroom a bit smaller than BB.

Has or had a nice open garden area with pool on the roof.

Intown would be my second choice hotel.

Either hotel should suit.

Was going to post a couple pics of my room last trip but don't appear to have that posting facility on this forum.

Good luck.

chico, :allright
