Good Thai restaurant please?

Hi all, I`m looking for a restaurant in daytime where I can have a nice Thai meal, the reason being I am meeting someone early afternoon during her break, she works at an hotel, any ideas?

The new(ish) food court on the top floor of the RG Plaza would be easy enough to find.

Cucumber is very nice, indoors with air con, and has a great atmosphere for meetings. It is a little on the expensive side, but the food quality is top notch. It's located on the north side of Pattaya Tai, just before you get to TukCom.

There's a restaurant whose name escapes me, in Thip Plaza, just north of Mikes Shopping mall off Second Road betweeen Second Road and Beach Road.

 

The restaurant is open air, down past the mini-malls on both sides (DHL in the middle) on the right hand side (heading to Beach Road). It's the last restaurant or business before you go down the lane to Beach Road. Very good Thai food at a reasonable price.

Depends what your trying to achieve...if its a view you want then Pete's Pattaya beer garden is the best.

 

If its taste regardless of location then its a small outside joint on the naklua rd directly across from a pink vet sign.

 

If its price then The Boat restaurant takes some beating (2nd rd across from boyz town)

Give her a treat and something different, try one of the Japanese restaurants at Big C or Royal Garden Plaza.

They are good value, but rather expensive for the average Thai worker.
