right guys i have scoured the web for listings and costings for 2/3 bed house in ubon, warin chamrap area(to rent)....i keep coming up with zero findings.....not 1 fucking listing appears anywhere.

does anybody know of website/s and also rough idea of monthly cost of such place....excluding running costs of elec,a/c etc?

i am not prepared to pay more than 8000/month rent.

my lady has a 1 bed now for 3500 month plus bills, surely it must be possible to get minimum 2 bed for my money....yes?......if so can you please help out with internet options so i can have quick view and then can pass on said info to my lady to go view them etc.

here's hoping someone can help as i don't want to spend my next 9 day trip in july house-hunting.

thanks in advance

I'm not in Ubon, but think you will have to do the footwork on the ground to find anywhere decent to rent. They are not into advertising or putting there house on the net for some reason in Isaan, they would rather see you face to face then decide if you are a good bet or not.

I rent in Nakhon Phanom and had to ask the locals and expat's to find somewhere to rent (not easy), took quite a while. I have a small two bedroomed, two bathrooms house with big garden. Air con in both bedrooms and sitting room (air is not really needed up here) used it between 5-7 times in last year.

I pay five thousand baht a month, gardener included, plus all utilities. Electric about 700 baht per month, water about 150 baht, home phone 200 baht all approximately. Also have UBC gold package at 1550 baht. Internet with TT&T 2MB connection 1070 baht.

Sorry can't help with internet options, but I don't think they exist in any great numbers. Hopefully some one will prove me wrong and can help you.

If I can provide any other info then just ask.

Best Regards

Fireman Sam
