you have my custom. been 2 trips and everyday at that. see you next week. my only complaint would be that my ass cheeks get sore sitting on them benches, especially after 1hr plus......i always lie lenghtways on them now, back against small wall......hope nobody minds feet pointing towards bar.....if they do....then bring me a cushion or 2......sorted. -

right guys i have scoured the web for listings and costings for 2/3 bed house in ubon, warin chamrap area(to rent)....i keep coming up with zero findings.....not 1 fucking listing appears anywhere. does anybody know of website/s and also rough idea of monthly cost of such place....excluding running costs of elec,a/c etc? i am not prepared to pay more than 8000/month rent. my lady has a 1 bed now for 3500 month plus bills, surely it must be possible to get minimum 2 bed for my money....yes?......if so can you please help out with internet options so i can have quick view and then can pass on said info to my lady to go view them etc. here's hoping someone can help as i don't want to spend my next 9 day trip in july house-hunting. thanks in advance

right guys im back soon and have paid reservation for room here but i never got to see rooms. i took girl's advice who i had been with a few days....she said rooms were excellent and very good value. she had used them b4 lol she said she didn't understand man wasting big money on room when you only need good bed,shower,a/c and tv. she had been to royal cliff, hard rock,lk metropole, marriot and a good few more upmarket places as well as some major shitholes.....some smelt so bad she asked how much she get for st as she didn't even want to lay down in them, never mind go lt. have i made a wise decision with this place....i know there is no in room safe, but it does have a pool, thats all i got to see. i was leaving town 6 hours later and the place was fully booked so couldn't get to view property. rooms are 650 and 750 baht what is difference for the money and which 1 should i be asking for?????????

great deal. mine cost 469.70 man-bkk with etihad. how do you go about getting open ended ticket anyway? im presuming you can leave any date and come back any date within your time frame of ticket,is that correct.

coming for a quick jaunt soon, nowhere booked. give your recommendations for hotel(no pool),in room safe,a/c,good bed(not hard) and great shower(bath is bonus) for on/under 1000/night. 1/just off walking street...(have stayed secrets+galaxy) 2/anywhere between soi 6------soi 13/2 the hotels with most mentions will be checked out(if have web address) and chosen accordingly. p.s no answers for hotels under 800 night as likely poor (me thinks) unless there's a unknown gem. cheers.... ali

everything in the uk is going to the wall. i dread to think what it will be like in 20 years and the costs involved in relation to earnings. there are going to be a lot of losers......time to plan a move....but to where. i wouldn't enjoy thailand on my uk budget.......unless very happily married out in the sticks.but why come here if not to monger(which costs a lot). even if you wanted a hooker in uk,there are none under £90 for 20 mins in my city and they are moo ton.

well deserved for sure. you don't know what youv'e been missing, might have made more effort before illness, had you known just how much fun it will be. hope no problems and it comes off for you.

c'mon guys somebody must know a bit about the documents procedure when setting up visitors visa application.
-
hi to all. compiling necessary info for application BUT what do i need to get certified copies of. would i be right in thinking- 1/ both our passports(but is it every page)? 2/her family address 3/ 2 passport photos 4/ her i.d. card but not our bank books, statements, wage slips, sponsor letter,my mortgage info. this is 1st attempt to get visitor visa to uk for possibly max 6week duration. need to get the ball rolling at her end in thailand so that on my arrival beginning jan i have all to hand and can simply fill out form, enclosing all,go to bkk and handover fee. what do i need duplicate copies of and also what needs a translated version also? any help greatly appreciated, thanks in advance and hopefully someone will answer.

have just stayed 11 nights is jasmine hotel, soi bj. have to say that is very good for the money, basic and clean. very good and quiet a/c,plus fan.limited choice of tv channels.only 2 english speaking.1 is movies,1 is bbc news.no phone in room.1 bedside table now.free internet(2 terminals) near reception.safes in same room as internet. room with balcony(very small) is 750bht night.no noise issues.doors not feel great and locks awkward to open/close,but what the hell. lady friend commented on this soi as being not a good location.what she meant is there are yabba dealers operating right outside front of hotel.but they won't bother you.she didn't like seeing it /them though. it is the cheapest place i have stayed in pattaya, but don't know if better can be had for same money/same location(walking street). other members might shed light on this.problem is people all have own ideas as to what is good/not good.best to check out for ones-self. only downside i found apart from hearing talking in next room was that it seems to be mosquito heaven. never normally get bitten but got munched everynight bar 1.even got maid to spray room. as soon as you open front door or balcony door they rush in to your room, ready to cause havoc. thaiali over and out.
