FLIPPER LODGE - HAS WIFI????

Hi all,

 

Stayed at the flipperlodge a couple of times now, but cant remember if they have wifi. I know they have 3 internet stations just off the lobby which you pay to use, but can I take my laptop and pay for the time in a similar fashion???

It has wi-fi. It’s not free anyway as you have to buy a card at the front desk which is more expensive internet cafes on the street. I just hung out the window to collect my emails.

I stayed here for 4days in October but didn’t get a wink of decent sleep as soi 8’s music doesn’t shut down till 6am. The room was meant to be recently renovated but just felt shoddy. My sea view was overcast by a huge advertising placard for condos.

I wouldn’t recommend this place for the price of the rooms.

But since you stayed there a few times, maybe you got better rooms.

Would be better if they had in room safes.

 

No wifi last time i stayed there... But good hotel, had a refurb.

Incorrect you need to buy air time at reception but you can pick up the signal in the rooms, and on the rooftop pool you can pick up the signal likewise and also from the Sunshine Hotel which uses the same network.

So do you need to buy air time, or can you get it for free in rooms.

No you pay for airtime the signal which you can pick up in the lobbys PC'S or via your own laptop in room or by pool.
