WANTED: House to rent

Recommended Posts

I am after a nice 2-3 bedroom home, preferably the dark side...

I do need BB internet access (I currently use my mobile and its not good enough)

Quiet location as I work from home

Air-Con

Basic furniture

Council rates, not the jacked up rates for electricity and water

I have been here 2 years and finally found a top-notch boss, so a 12 month rental agreement would suit me fine

Low cost... Even though I have a top notch boss... my salary aint that huge.... so the lower the cost the better... if its a bargain.. I will sign the contract today :thumbup

What type of property are you looking for?

A townhouse along Soi Khaotalo or Soi Kow Noi with two bedrooms will set you back between 7-12000 baht per month whilst a two or three bed-roomed house will cost you between 15-25000 baht per month.

Price will reflect quality.

The best thing you can do is have a ride around the area and get a feel of where you like or dislike.

Many houses display ‘for rent’ signs so you won’t have a problem in finding one.

Try and avoid paying large up-front deposits which is sometimes not so easy to get back.

Unfortunately there are some landlords who will use every excuse in the book to keep some of your money then give the house a make-over at your expence

My price range is more of what I may find in Soi Khaotalo or Soi Kow Noi area...

Im not really into big and fancy as I have been there and done that and find its a waste of money...

post-16708-1240385921.png Since I rarely venture out from my office (room), I dont use much of the house...

I do have a TG who keeps the home I am in, immaculate.... She works PT, so too much house would be a wasted venture...

I have projects going on which take up my finances, so the more I can put to the projects, the better it is for me, hence a low rent is what I require at a max of 10k per month

I know there are bargains to be had and I have seen a really nice 3 BR home for 8500 per month, but I dont like the smell of dog poo and the home for 8500 has a neighbor with 7-8 dogs that he keeps
